Jay Orcutt
Jay is a queer artist that focuses on cosmetics and the art of drag. He graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design and a study of Art History. During his undergraduate studies, Jay explored the world of the beauty industry and its devoted social media subculture.
His senior project and ongoing series "The Drag Renaissance" highlights the intersection of old European high society and the hyperfeminism of drag culture. One of Jay's personal passions is thrifting, a great source for antique frames for the collection.
